High School

Ida Scott Taylor once wrote: "Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering. "

High school was a great time for me, but I always felt like life would truly start after graduation. In retrospect, I wish I had relaxed more an focused on being a kid. I didn't realize how easy life was. I miss always having friends with me 24/7. It is an exeptionally special time in everyone's life.

To those who may read this and still be in high school...enjoy it while you can! Don't be in a hurry to leave. Take too many pictures, don't take yourself too seriously, and don't miss an opportunity to strengthen friendships before you leave. Thanks to all my friends who made high school the riot that it was. I miss all of you guys but I am glad we still keep in touch! I consider myself so lucky to have the great friends that I have.

I am trying now to enjoy every moment as it comes at me. To "make it so beautiful that it is worth remembering." Life comes at us so fast! It's important to live in the moment and enjoy all the seasons and phases that life has to offer us.

Kylee,
I feel honored to have a picture of me on your blog. I had a great time in High School. Sometimes I think about the good times we had in high school and wish I could go back there with what I know and how I am now, I serioulsy would be so cool! Also, there wouldn't of been as many Cherry Sisters fights! I love you.

Wow Kylee you are so grown up! Such wisdom from such a beautiful young lady. I too look back on my high school years with such fondness.I wish I owned a camera back then to have some cool pics like you have. You ae right, enjoy EVERY moment :) Life does come at you fast, I can't even believe I am where I am today. From 5 little children to one married, grandchildren, another on her own, One graduating this year to just 2 at home. So great and yet so sad. I wouldn't have had it any othey way though!! Kylee! you are so sweet! This was such a fun post to read, I couldn't agree more! Though I love the experiences I have had since high school and I love being married, I do remember the times in high school and can't help but smile and laugh to myself. We had some hilarious moments, and some tender moments that brought us together as friends and made us stronger. Its amazing how different we all are and how many different ways we've gone but still we are so close. We are incredibly lucky. Girl friends are the greatest gift and I'm so lucky to have you as a friend!

Kylee! I love you more than words can say. This post made me tear up just a little bit. I miss these days too! They flew right by didn't they? But I am so glad that we have future memories to make together. Thank you for being one of the best friends I ever had and thank you for all them memories past, present, and future! (I know...that was deep)
