Tagged. Finally.
The rules are: Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself. Tag 7 random people at the end of your blog. Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

My point exactly.
2- Peter Pan is my favorite Disney movie of all time, but I don't like to watch it because it makes me sad.
3- I hate the Times New Roman font. It makes me want to fall asleep. I wonder why it's the default font on everything. I much prefer Verdana.
4- I love love LOVE One Tree Hill. It is the greatest show in the world. It is entertaining without being sleezy or lame. The drama is practical and amazing. James Lafferty isn't to bad to look at either.

5- I love Maverick frozen yogurt. Sometimes I like to go get it because they let you make your own cone! Can you believe that? It's a lot of fun. I'm still perfecting my cone making skills. I've made many ugly cones.
6- I cannot fall asleep without rubbing my feet together. I have tried, and it's not possible. It makes me sleepy.
7- I find that if I get cranky, it's because I haven't listened to music. It calms me down. It also inspires me to be creative. What I would do without it, I wish to never find out.
I tag Sherree, my mom, Lindsay and Taylor.

I'm back! For good this time.
You'd think I'd be a better blogger seeing as I don't have a whole lot going on. I guess that's just it. I never have much to blog. I'm going to be better now though. Promise!
We saw this rad owl. I think it was Sam's favorite part of the day. It's nice to have someone who enjoys the same things you do. He's used to me dragging him into boutiques and craft stores to get ideas on things I can create. It's fun to have an artists input. I found a pattern for a cute Amy Butler bag that I'll be making this week. Yay! I love projects. I have tons to do! I have to finish our halloween costumes too! Pictures to come.
Also, if you're into music, check out Simple Times by Joshua Radin. It's super chill and fun. You won't be dissappointed. Probably anyway.

Thrice and Circa Survive
Last night was an extremely momentuous occasion for a number of reasons. First being, I got to see Anthony Green. A. Green has been a favorite of mine for the last few years. You may know him from Circa Survive, Saosin, Sounds of Animals Fighting, Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, High and Driving, or Audience of One. I think he is extremely talented, not to mention extremely attractive. (See picture below.)
Headlining the show last night was Thrice. If you're into rock music and have never listened, you're truly missing out. Thrice puts on the most amazing show imaginable. I would go as far as to call it an experience.
Thrice has 2 new albums out that are broken into the elements. Fire, Water, Air and Earth. All songs have a distinct sound that relate to the element. So revolutionary.Posted by kylee at 5:55 PM 2 comments

New Car!
Yes, it's true. I am the proud new owner of a V-Dub. I bought this car a few weeks ago, and i've been too busy enjoying it to blog it. It's so much fun! I feel so lucky to be working finally! It's been nice being able to afford things I've had to go without for so long. My car doesn't have a name, but I am currently accepting suggestions.

Car For Sale
Yes, that's right. It's time to say good bye to the good ole Avalon. I am truly going to miss this car. It has given me some of the best times of my life. Some of my fondest memories include waterfights with Jessica and Emily in Sugarhouse, listening to the Format with the windows down over and over with my beauty school friends, the roadtrip to Vegas with my roomates, and many many others that I can't think of right now.
Avy has been through a lot. Like the time I knelt on the drivers seat in the middle of winter and ripped her leather, and the time she was shot at with paintballs. She has been through so much but she has never given up on me. She is a champion. Her air conditioning blows cold and she never failed to heat me up in the winter. I have an issue with locking my keys in my car and Avy helped me fix that problem. She would ding loudly at me reminding me my keys were in the ignition. I only locked them in her one time. She is the greatest car ever and if anyone would like to create their own memories with her, or know of anyone who might, you're more than welcome to buy her for the low low price of $3,300. It's the right thing to do.

High School
Ida Scott Taylor once wrote: "Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering. "
High school was a great time for me, but I always felt like life would truly start after graduation. In retrospect, I wish I had relaxed more an focused on being a kid. I didn't realize how easy life was. I miss always having friends with me 24/7. It is an exeptionally special time in everyone's life.
To those who may read this and still be in high school...enjoy it while you can! Don't be in a hurry to leave. Take too many pictures, don't take yourself too seriously, and don't miss an opportunity to strengthen friendships before you leave. Thanks to all my friends who made high school the riot that it was. I miss all of you guys but I am glad we still keep in touch! I consider myself so lucky to have the great friends that I have.

Art Project 101
Lately I've been wanting to create a collage to put in my room. Today inspiration hit when I saw a killer frame at the store with my mom and Lindsay. I'd been collecting pictures of things I liked for some time now, and I'm glad I finally got to use them.

Tooth Paste For Dinner
For a good chuckle, go to my favorite web comic, toothpastefordinner.com. There is a new comic everyday and a HUGE archive of past comics. They're mostly centered around office humor, and they're super sarcastic. Go figure why I like them.

These last few weeks at the salon have been so much fun! Thanks to all my family and friends who have been in to support me! Last week my cousin Jessie came in to get her hair cut and colored! Here are after and before pics.

A Night at Shoguns
Nikki and Josh lookin' super fine as usual.
Quintin and Eric both looking spectacular. And slightly mentally challenged.
*** In other news, my first week in the salon went off without a hitch. Things there are amazing and I love the people I work with. They're all extremely friendly and I can tell I am where I am meant to be. Things will start out slow, but they will pick up. A shout out to Mattie who let me remove close to 12 pounds of hair off her head. Thanks for supporting me.
